The Resurrection: He Lives and Because He Lives, We Too Shall Live Again

This is a sunrise picture taken on Hilton Head Island. On this peaceful Easter Sunday morning, it reminds me of the blessings of the glorious resurrection of Jesus Christ. He died on Friday to atone for the sins of all mankind and rose from the tomb on Sunday to become “the first fruits of them that slept” (1 Corinthians 15:20). Because of Jesus Christ, no matter how dark our “Fridays” may be, there will always be the brilliant light of “Sunday” to renew our hope in the future, because of Him Who gave His all that we might overcome sin, adversity, and death. “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee” (Isaiah 26:3). On this Easter morning I give my witness that He lives again. Because He lives, we too shall live. I give thanks to God for the priceless gift of His Beloved Son.
